Done today in work.Kitchen colouring Inspired by the Original Tom and Jerry Shorts.I always remember them have tiled floors,Always.The house was vanishing point practice but I had to make it 2 stories which kinda undone all my vanishing point progress

The Mime Turnaround 2

I did a turnaround for him a couple weeks back but it was crap.The face was rubbish and the body was also rubbish.I think I stuck to closely to my ref pictures so I just drew this one up tonight from my head.I had don't the first pose a while back and I really liked it but it wasn't the easiest thing to figure out so It looks awkward but with that back arm and the hand on hip but overall its the shape I want and looks how I want it to look.The side head was very difficult to figure out.I think its as good as i could probably get it but I may try to tweak it during animation if i think of something better

I have been struggling to design the second mime in my film and it hit me yesterday to make her a girl and immediately this flew out of my head,I like it,I occasionally like some of my stuff,those knee pads are weird tho,and the front hair is a bit off and because of the white face she is a bit Harley Quiny.....Ignore my previous statement

Better then the Other I think

I find making art for you-tube such a pain in the other end.I had to re-size this 8 times,There recommended size still crops so I had to keep shrinking the logo but keep the same size file.It still doesn't really fit but I've Had enough.Here were the regular sized stuff and the final one I needed to make it fit on the You-tubes

I always find the turnarounds I do a bit ugly.But this is just for reference and combined with some of the poses and expressions I've already done I have a feeling things are going to turn out ok.

More Mime Development

Still making some Tweaks to my Bad Mime.Finding it harder then expected to draw him.Trying to pin down his body shape,His legs have been particularly hard.Been looking at a lot of Wile Coyote For Reference His head is also a pain to draw and it will probably be a nightmare for me to animate his non spiky hair but got to learn sometime..

Zombies Vs Aliens Prelude

A kind of proof of concept to help my Development of 'Zombies Vs Aliens'Wanted to see how the characters would move and look and if it would be feasible to do what I hope to do in Zombies vs Aliens.The answer is no it is not.Animation takes ages and If I were to do what I want to do it would probably take 3 years but screw it I'll do it anyways.

The animation is in this seems is have over animated half under animated and the backgrounds aren't the best.I don't know maybe in a few weeks when I look at it with fresh eyes I'll think better of it.It was fun tho and I definitely learned a lot and tried some fairly out of the box type things for me,I think I'm going on the right track anyways and I can only go up from here.


Fun Fact:The part in this where he walks down the corridor past the camera has the same amount of drawings as the rest of this combined if not more.It took almost a month for that part alone but it was my first shot I did so have that was getting the rust of and getting used to the design.

More Zombie Stuff

I must have the most passive looking zombies ever.I'm not really A zombie fan tho other then the odd george Romero Film and even then its casual.Here is a zombie girl Turn around for 'Zombies Vs Aliens:Prelude:This along with the aliens may change in future for the actual real film but for now I think it should suffice.the line is a bit to clean I think.My pressure tool doesn't really work so all my animations are cleaned with the line tool in flash.It makes them to jagged and sucks a lot of the pencil drawing charm out.Hopefully I'll be able to animate the clean up with a cintique on good computer down the line
