Mime Suspect: Cemetery Park

I have been struggling with this background for weeks now. Its the first Background for the 'Mime Suspect' so I'm trying to get a style that works well with the character designs and the animation. My initial idea wast working so i went in a different direction which I think looks vastly better

Model sheets for the mime. I think I've finally looked his design down. I've figured out his t-shirt pattern and got a decent side on view.as I animate him I will as usual figure out better ways to draw him which is good as I see the character as a very reusable and able to be put in different scenarios

This was a nightmare to get right.Figuring out the background to move with the animation but it did help me to learn a lot in after effects.My lecturers felt it was way to long and hurt the pacing of the film so its been chopped up and trimmed down for the final one. I put my pencil test over my reference to see how they matched up and if there were any glaring problems to worry about.This is about 500 drawings on 2s so a lot of drawing and a long time scanning.Now the fun part drawing it all again cleaning it up fixing all the kinks and colouring it in.Always fun being a zombie
